Role: Project Manager

Location: Richmond, VA 23219  Hybrid

Interview: In Person

 

Job Summary:

• Experience Required: 8+ years managing large-scale projects valued at $10M or more.
• IT Infrastructure: Expertise in networking, physical plant, vendor management, and site provisioning.
• Project Management Methodologies: Proficiency in both Scaled Agile and Waterfall.
• High-Visibility Projects: Proven track record in managing high-stakes projects with external team coordination.
• PMO Governance: Experience managing projects as part of a larger program under PMO governance.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems, Project Management, or Finance/Business.
• Certifications: PMP required; VITA, Agile Scrum Master, and SAFe® Scrum Master certifications highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server).

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple large-scale projects, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate IT infrastructure delivery and oversee external team integration.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and project communication.
• Identify and mitigate risks; adjust plans as necessary.
• Maintain project documentation and report progress to senior management.
