Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist for an exciting opportunity. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling, and be local to Dallas, TX. This position requires an onsite interview, with a hybrid work model that offers flexibility between onsite and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deploy machine learning models for data-driven decision making.
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to extract insights from large datasets.
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for continuous data ingestion and processing.
Work with stakeholders to define key metrics and translate business requirements into data models.
Utilize statistical and programming skills (Python, R, SQL) to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business strategies through data-driven insights.
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in Data Science.
Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning.
Experience with machine learning algorithms (classification, regression, clustering, etc.).
Strong knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data wrangling techniques.
Experience with SQL for querying large databases.
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
Understanding of cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure for deploying ML models.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with big data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop.
Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation.
