Thought I'd start a bit of a list of imagery related to the series.
I'll begin with links to fanart, and maybe add links to the different
cover art later too. Won't put the artists' names in here,as the links
all lead back to their pages anyway.

The following are all on Deviantart

Che http://fav.me/d2yuuz7
Tynisa http://fav.me/d4gdnqo
Achaeos http://fav.me/d4eiah7
Salma http://fav.me/d30l9uu
Tisamon http://fav.me/d4gdoch
Solarno and the Exalsea http://fav.me/d4jbozi
Dragonfly Falling (Salma & Che) http://fav.me/d45n7uz
Dragonfly Falling (Salma & Grief in Chains) http://fav.me/d4gqlky

A thousand pardons for posting here, but I have little something that
I feel might be of interest to you.

Joyless Greatly & Achaeos http://i1226.photobucket.com/albums/ee405/Mosyk/Apt_vs_Inapt.jpg

I apologize for the inconsistencies in my portrayal of these two
characters. If I recall, Joyless Greatly was far more expressive.

Ooh, the chibi maker. That's a thought. I may have to play about
with that as well.

I'm tempted to approach some of them to ask if we can put their art on
the wiki. It might achieve two things: art on the wiki, and some more
fans knowing about it.

I'm sure most wouldn't mind if you asked (i certainly wouldn't mind
for the couple that are mine)
will get some more together, but probably after xmas (real life
intruding here...)

@Roderick I made these chibis using a tool called TekTek. It's a sort
of fashion tool for a website called Gaia Online. It lets users mix
and match items, though it's somewhat limited in my opinion.

I have one other image though it is likely very inaccurate.

Sef http://i952.photobucket.com/albums/ae5/Bloodmagegabe/Shadows%20of%20the%20Apt/UnderwaterSef.png

This could probably just be a generic Water Spider-kinden I suppose. I
feel quite stupid for not checking the character's description. [/
sighs] Mea culpa.

You can't edit things, it's email.

I somehow hadn't cottoned onto that....(insert blush smiley)

Being used to a phpp forum, its a bit disconcerting, not being able to
edit posts. Is there a particular reason why we use a google group
rather than a forum?

@Sarah Thanks. I have a few other chibis, though I don't feel like
they're my best. Sometimes I edit images to fancy them up in what
little ways I can.

Here's a fancy Heirs of the Blade image

Yes, we didn't have anyone with access to host a forum when we were first putting this together.  Personally, I started off my internet use with newsgroups, and upgraded to e-mail groups.

Of course, there's no reason to keep on the e-mail list (other than archives) if someone knows how to host, set up and manage one.

I actually am part of a group that manages a certain band's online
forum. we use bizhat, its free and works well for us.It has lots of
nice customisable bits (headers,colour schemes,user
management, password protection, options to make it more or less visible
online,spoam protection etc.)

Here's where you set it up :
http://mf.s4.bizhat.com/signup/index.php

However I am very new here and don't want to step on any toes;if
you're all happy to stay on here then I'll adjust :D If you decide you
all want to set something like this up and meet on there instead of
here, thats fine by me too and i'll help however i can.

forgot to say above, that on the band's forum, we are linked to their
main website and hence get a lot of traffic;it really makes more sense
to use such a forum linked to a blog/site and when there are a lot of
people to participate in it,which may not be the case here.so thats
something to consider.
