Keyword statistics query - "4 term" and "2 term"

I'm looking for something to help me understand the difference between the Log Likelihood (and Text Dispersion Keyness) 2 term and 4 term measures. When should I use one rather than the other?

Hi Stephen,

The 4-term measure is the correct one to use. The 2-term measure is effectively just an estimate of the 4-term version. The 2-term version was quoted by many people/institutions and used in various tools for many years so it is kept for historical purposes.
