Dear Professor Laurence Anthony,
I hope this message finds you well. I would like to express my deep appreciation for the incredible work you have done with AntConc and its invaluable contributions to the field of corpus linguistics.
I am writing to join the voices of others in the community who have suggested adding a feature that allows users to incorporate new files into an existing corpus without reloading the entire dataset. I noticed that others in the community, including Deborah's thread, have raised similar requests, which further underscores the utility of such functionality.

Personally, this feature would be immensely helpful, as I often work on building corpora of philosophers, including contemporary ones. Over time, I frequently need to update these corpora by adding new texts while retaining the existing files. The ability to seamlessly expand a corpus would save considerable time and effort, enhancing the usability of AntConc for projects like mine.
Thank you for considering this suggestion, and I look forward to seeing how AntConc continues to evolve.
Best regards,
Illia.
