Hi All,

If anyone is interested, contact my friend Corinne (information
below).

Cheers,

Ben

The Rochester Literacy Movement has been invited to participate in the
great Rochester tradition of The Lilac Festival! As we commemorate
the 175th anniversary of our city, we will be traveling with the 'Big
Wish Globe' and displaying Rochester Literacy Movement logos along
with City of Rochester "One City, One Future" images.

The Lilac Festival at Highland Park will be a kickoff for the City and
Literacy Movement presence at many of Rochester's great summer
festivals. At each event, representatives from the Literacy Movement
will be collecting new or very-gently-used books and distributing
information on literacy programs along with materials on our City's
175th anniversary events.

To make this event a great success, we are seeking volunteers to help
staff our table and distribute materials for the duration of the
festival and to collect books on the weekends. Shifts will run:

10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Friday May 8 - Sunday May 17

If you would be interested in helping out, please email
corinne....@vista-roc.net with shift preferences. Details on
location, etc. will follow.

Thank you again for expressing your interest in volunteering, and feel
free to pass this opportunity along to anyone else who might be
interested!

Please do not hesitate to call or email with any questions or
concerns.

Sincerely,

Corinne Carpenter
