Patty Love designs permaculture gardens and lifestyles for herself and
others in Rochester, NY, where she consults and designs as the owner of
Barefoot Edible Landscape and Permaculture, teaches and learns as the
Program Director of the Rochester Permaculture Center, and co-leads as the
Program Director and founder of the public food forest project, Lots of
Food.
Here's a workshop description:
Got lead? Got shade? How about urban wildlife? Permaculture, a design
science rooted in natural systems, informs us how to plan productive
perennial food forests that will feed sub/urban dwellers in even the most
challenging environments - by the block or by the yard. Learn ecological
garden and polyculture design basics as well as advanced problem prevention
and solving to increase the biodiversity, health, and productivity of your
sub/urban garden or farm while discovering some new foods, regenerating the
environment, and reducing your workload.
