Welcome to Spring! AGA is busy planning events to "talk greyhounds"
before the weather gets really hot, so watch for details as they
become available.

WELCOME, LADIES!

Two new ladies were welcomed into AGA's foster program last Tuesday
during some of the worst weather Central Texas has seen in a while.
They were picked up in Stephenville and ushered into the warmth of Bob
Trapp's home for safe keeping. Manicurist aka Mandy is 3-1/2 years
old, white with red ticking. Sunbonnet aka Bonnie is 4-1/2 years old,
black and white. They were vetted on Thursday and attended a M&G on
Sunday. Both are sweet girls. Watch the website for their pictures
and bios.

SPECIAL-NEEDS YOUNGSTERS

While visiting the Stephenville farm to pick up the ladies we learned
of three special-needs dogs. One is a 14-month old female red brindle
named Cheerzilla (what a name!) who broke her hind leg while training
for the track. The other two are 6-month old puppies one of which is
blind in one eye and the other has a leg issue because mom stepped on
it. If you're interested in giving one of these hounds a forever
home, please let us know.

WELLS BRANCH SPRING FESTIVAL

This Saturday AGA will have a sales booth at the Wells Branch
Elementary School Spring Festival. The festival is from 2-6 pm.
Members of AGA will be there to set up at 11:00, and volunteers are
needed any time to help promote the adoption of our beautiful retired
racers. Bobbie Wier has all the details: racer...@sbcglobal.net.
The address: 14650 Merrill Town Dr. (just east of Burnet Road north
of Howard Lane). It's only four hours, and we need your help.

MEET & GREET

The Great Outdoors Nursery is a beautiful place to spend a couple
hours on Sunday afternoon, March 30 from 1-3pm. It's located on South
Congress Avenue. There are magnificent oaks and water features and
some of the friendliest folks you could ever meet. Now's the time for
you folks who live south of the river to "jump right in".
Coordinator: Rachael Barden, cat...@hotmail.com)

PLACEMENT

Percy aka EZ Pursesnatcher was placed in his forever home last
Saturday night. He was spoken for months ago, but his new parents
weren't able to taken him right away. The Defines had the privilege
of fostering him during his wait. After such a long wait Percy got a
very special "Welcome Home".

Come join in the fun of finding homes for these beautiful creatures!
