CLASSIC CARTOONS ON THE BIG SCREEN

When was the last time you saw 35mm prints of Bugs Bunny and pals
projected in an actual movie theater? Most kids only know these
cartoons from TV, but they take on a whole new life when projected on
the big screen.

Don't miss "WACKY WESTERNS FROM TERMITE TERRACE" this Tuesday at the
Eastman House's Dryden Theatre.

This hilarious collection of Western send-ups from the golden age of
Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies features splendid work from the
acclaimed auteurs of "Termite Terrace." EGGHEAD RIDES AGAIN (Tex
Avery, 1937, 35mm); SCALP TROUBLE (Bob Clampett, 1939, 35mm nitrate
print); THE LONE STRANGER AND PORKY (Bob Clampett, 1939, 35mm nitrate
print); DRIP-ALONG DAFFY (Chuck Jones, 1951, 35mm); BUGS BUNNY RIDES
AGAIN (Friz Freleng, 1948, 35mm); PUNY EXPRESS (Walter Lantz/Dick
Lundy, 1951, 35mm) plus two of Tex Avery's best from his years at MGM:
DEPUTY DROOPY (1955, 35mm) and THE FIRST BAD MAN (1955, 35mm). Ticket
price includes admission to 8:00 pm showing of Wichita.
