FW: Getting Busy and Signing Off

Hi All!

I just learned that I was nominated, elected, and installed as chair of my precinct! Surprise to me!  Whan CHANGE and action is required, I come through!

Therefore, I won't have much time to send political news, unless there is something earth-shatteringly important (in my view) because, as precinct chair, I have to get really busy.  I must organize the Democrats in my precinct (neighborhood), assemble and distribute a batch of flyers to every Democratic door, call each, and continue volunteering for the campaigns of Hank Eng, Mark Udall, Diana Holland, and Barack Obama!  In 33 days!  NO PROBLEM!  

As you know, the election on November 4 will be one of the most important we have ever faced.  The outcome will determine our country's future, not to mention the health of the planet on which we live, and all the living creatures on it.  We need to work like crazy to make sure that Barack Obama and Joe Biden are elected, that we elect a bullet-proof U.S. Congress, and that a Democratic wealth of talent wins seats in the State Houses and Senates.

Now, get off the computer YOURSELF, and get to work for a campaign or the Party!   Or, call the State Democratic Headquarters, or your County Democratic Headquarters.  There's plenty of work to do before November 4!  You are needed.  See below for many ways to HELP!

Don't wake up on November 5 and wish you had done something.  Do it now.

Contact your state's Democratic headquarters. Use the Google search engine to find your state's Democratic Party headquarter's web site and a telephone number and address.
Example:   <(YOUR State) Democratic Party.com>   The State Democratic Party will direct you to your county or district office.   Your state's web site will list all the candidates running in your state and how to contact their campaigns.

Your county Democratic Party headquarters may also have its own web site, as might your district (you need the number).  Call any Democratic office and find out how to HELP!
