Greetings Fellow Skydivers… (thoughts go out for Jarrod and to Jarrod’s friends and family).
The energy and support for this event is phenomenal, and growing still. The owners and management of Protea Hotel Ranch Resort <www.TheRanch.co.za> have gone all out to ensure an awesome event for us.
Seriously do not miss this one! https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=218360758200443
We have sports skydivers from at least 11 drop zones across Southern Africa confirmed, as well as a contingent of skydivers coming through from the SANDF. Eddie and Connie are coming through from Swakopmund Skydiving Club via our friends in Bloem, and via Rustenburg (a journey of some 2500kms).
Last week we had Johannes Selepe and David Maina on the www.CapricornFM.co.za Ashifa Breakfast Show and we have a number of Capricorn FM DJs coming out to do Tandem Introductory Skydives with us at the event.
We also aim to train and qualify Miss Limpopo Kholefelo Madiba <representing www.MallofTheNorth.co.za> and Economist Setepane Mohale to skydive at this event - with graduation on National Women’s Day. The theme: “Women in High Places”.
Mall of The North (a massive @ 75 000 sqm) have also been kind enough to allow us to put up some posters in this super shopping centre.
We are hoping to confirm a couple more women to train and qualify to skydive at this event, and there might still be a spot or 2 open if there is anyone that still wants to apply for this opportunity to train and qualify to skydive on their own over 5 days (can be self-funded or sponsored) at this event.
We have Limpopo Tourism and Parks <www.GoLimpopo.co.za> “Women in Adventure” coming through to skydive with us on National Women’s Day, and we have been requested by the Office of the Premier to perform a parachute display into the official National Women’s Day Event at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
