Boot stuck at "switching to clocksource tsc" message

Test machine: Lenovo Ideapad U410, Ivy Bridge i5 3317U, HD4000 Graphic card

Stuck during boot with about 90% chance. Basic research suggest the bug is related to the kernel. So can any1 fix it? Thanks in advance.

One solution I found is to use grub2 from the linux distribution. I tested EFI grub2 from Ubuntu 14.10 which works fine except having to type two "exit" during boot.
