Dear all,

My Cherry Trail Thinkpad 10 (20e4, 2nd gen, atom Z8700) was able to boot and the touchscreen works for a moment when I touch the "Start" button in the first step of the start-up wizard. (Android x86 8.1 rc1). Unfortunately, starting the next screen in which the wifi connection is to be selected, the touchscreen starts to be unresponsive and I need to resort to using my keyboard and trackpad. The accelerometer (screen rotate properly between landscape and portrait modes) and wifi are both working fine.

Any advice on how I maybe able to respawn the touchscreen?

Thanks!

Best Regards,
Johnny

My Chuwi Hi10 Pro with Atom Z8300 (also Cherry Trail) had similar problems. The touchscreen worked so badly that there were random touch events. I could use mouse and keyboard, but every use was interrupted sooner or later. The rotation sensor was not working. Here are some device ID's of the Chuwi Hi10 Pro:

Chipone Touchscreen
VenID: MSSL DevID: 1680

Bosch Accelerometer
VenID: BOSC DevID: 0200

WLAN/Bluetooth
Realtek RTL8732BS
