Hey y'all,

sorry for the German subject, but maybe there are some Germans in here,
who have seen this, too, and now recognize it.
In English it is: The process "com.google.process.gapps" was terminated
- or something like that.

The Popup appeared this morning and now it's - more or less -
permanently blocking the machine.
What more can I say: It's Android Version 4.4.2 with Kernel
3.10.52-android-x86+ in Virtualbox 3.2.8 on Lucid Lynx.

What can I do against this really really annoying popup ?

Thank you

Hast du eine Lösung gefunden / Did you found a Solution?

I have the same problem on my Packard Bell Dot a. But my system is installed as an "Single-System", means I have only Android x86 4.4-rc3 installed on it. I had finally the Problem, that the Playstore or Gapps doesn't worked anymore and that it wasn't possible to Download Apps from the Playstore and the Google Services doesn't worked anymore, like Authentification etc. I have Re-installed my system with the Same version (Android 5.1 RC1 doesn't want to work for me, it stuck on the Splash screen like to much other people, it's an AMD CPU and GPU, so I guess thats the reason why) but it starts again, the Popup is already showed again.

Hi,
The problem may be related to AMD CPU or non ssse3 CPU in both cases, this constraint applies also to x86 (32bit) ISO.

Thomas, Niels what is your CPU (the host machine CPU for virtualbox case)?

Mauro

NOTE: for x86-64 target current constraint is even more strict, sse4 and popcnt are currently used as a default in Android build system.

It's a AMD CPU on the Packard Bell dot a, I guess also that this is the reason, why 5.1-r1 won't work actually....

I try some different things to Update/Downgrade/Reinstall my Gapps, none of them really want to work....

Unfortunately, my knowldege of the Android system is not very good. Although I can cat cpuinfo it is not clear to me, how to transfer these data into eMail  ...

Just try to download and Install CPU-Z from android playstore.

What's the CPU of your main System? Your Android is in a Virtualbox right?

Right, but that is the same problem ...

I switch to English again.

So if you are Using a Intel CPU, it's  not a problem of the AMD CPU. I guess your CPU is supporting ssse3 so this isn't the Problem too. Well but what is the Problem then?

I stopped using my android System actually, because of the error are too annoying, to use it properly. I hope an Update of Android x86 would fix that.

Guess I need to go to groups to get this. But 4.4 don't work?  No Android build from C.W. don't work?  I'm assuming  your trying to use something kinda new.. Go back to the old stuff it works.

Thank you for your answer.

The r2 or r1 of Kitkat work better than then r3? Or do you mean some older stuff, like Jellybean or other stuff?
