I guess the graphic driver of your device
has to be fixed.
However we are unable to do that unless
you tell us how to fix it.
Have you tried a latest linux distro like Ubuntu or Fedora?
Does the i915 driver loaded correctly and 3D apps work?
If there is a linux user group for this device,
I suggest you consult them to see if any
patches are available for this device.
Then we can apply them.
Alternately, you can try the VESA mode
(choose 800x600x32 or 1024x768x32 mode)
It may work but slower.
