Why is it that Linage os for raspberry pi only works with Ethernet cable connected.
if I disable Ethernet cable, it keeps on rebooting showing the rainbow screen.
must be som sort of error relating to mac-address, wifi drivers error?

Or the devlopers of the product don't want you too use it portable.
I tried Linageos 8 months ago wifi worked flawlessly. now that distro is gone, updated with distros where wifi doesent work.

If anyone have any solution or can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate that.
best regards john

If you have questions, it would be helpful to know which kind of hardware you are using. Onboard wifi? Which version Raspi 4 or 3? Which Lineage version? Did you download it, using the links on Konstakangs website? By the way, the developers (Konstakang) do their best to make this image running smoothly, so I think there is no reason for claiming things like "they don't want it to be used portable", especially if you would like to get help and paid for it as much as me: nothing! A saying of a  German Youtuber: You should be nice, if you would like to f***...

Kind regards

A developer (=one). It's not a "product". If you paid something I didn't receive it.

I haven't removed a single thing I've made publicly available. Everything is still available for download.

As for the issue itself. I can't reproduce it on my devices. Wifi works for me just fine and it does so for most people. Last month is probably the first time I even heard about this. This week is the first time I received a log that provides some information I can actually use.

So how about instead of whining you provide some useful information that might help e.g. testing what is the last build that didn't have this issue?
