Inclusion of Donald Trump in the International List of Shame and State Terror

The Arab Translators Association (ARTA), through its global initiative “The International List of Shame and State Terror,” hereby announces its cultural and historical decision to include Donald Trump in this list, as a political figure whose record has been associated with policies of force, threat, and the politicization of the concept of terrorism in ways that serve dominance at the expense of peoples.
This decision is based on a political record marked by escalation in rhetoric and policies toward Iran, the imposition of sanctions and pressure on countries such as Venezuela and Cuba with resulting humanitarian consequences, as well as confrontational positions toward the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and threats to reshape or withdraw from it, tensions with international partners including the European Union, Canada, and Mexico, in addition to controversial expansion-oriented proposals such as the attempt to purchase Greenland, and support for policies and alliances in the Middle East that have drawn widespread criticism in the context of conflicts and their impact on civilians.
This resolution constitutes a decisive intellectual declaration that the era of monopolizing the definition of terrorism has ended, and that intellectuals no longer accept double standards in defining violence and international policies. In this context, a fundamental contrast emerges between Amer Al Azem as a representative of the power of thought, conscience, and the free word, and Donald Trump as a model of power politics, pressure, and the imposition of political will. Accordingly, this inclusion represents a counter-cultural stance affirming that thought has the power to confront force, expose it, and record it in history.
ARTA affirms that this resolution represents a cultural condemnation of policies of collective sanctions and military escalation, a clear rejection of double standards in the global classification of terrorism, and a call to rebuild international discourse on the basis of human justice rather than political dominance. It further calls for a cultural and ethical boycott of policies that harm peoples, for empowering intellectuals in historical accountability, and for building a global awareness that places humanity before power.
This resolution is not a court ruling, but a cultural and ethical document forming part of a global intellectual record of our time.

تُعلن Arab Translators Association (ARTA)، ومن خلال مبادرتها العالمية "القائمة الدولية للعار والإرهاب"، قرارها الثقافي والتاريخي بإدراج دونالد ترامب ضمن هذه القائمة، باعتباره نموذجًا سياسيًا ارتبط بسياسات القوة والتهديد وتسييس مفاهيم الإرهاب بما يخدم منطق الهيمنة على حساب الشعوب.
يأتي هذا القرار استنادًا إلى سجل سياسي اتسم بالتصعيد في الخطاب والسياسات تجاه إيران، وبفرض عقوبات وضغوط على دول مثل فنزويلا وكوبا مع ما ترتب عليها من آثار إنسانية، إضافة إلى مواقف متوترة تجاه حلف شمال الأطلسي (NATO) وتهديدات بإعادة تشكيله، وتوترات مع شركاء دوليين مثل الاتحاد الأوروبي وكندا والمكسيك، فضلًا عن طرح أفكار توسعية مثيرة للجدل مثل السعي لشراء جرينلاند، ودعم سياسات وتحالفات في الشرق الأوسط أثارت انتقادات واسعة في سياق النزاعات وتأثيرها على المدنيين.
