Message to the Academics and Staff of Cardiff University
Greetings of knowledge, culture, achievement, and history,
I have noticed the joining of hundreds of academics and staff members from your university to ARTA networks, which reflects the strength and influence of ARTA as a global cultural movement dedicated to serving humanity, intellect, and knowledge. I warmly welcome you all, and I hope that each one of you will consider yourself an ambassador of ARTA to the world.
Through you, I also salute British academics, intellectuals, and translators, as well as the free people of Britain who stood beside the Palestinian people in their historical tragedy that has continued for more than a century. From 1916 until 1967, Britain supported the establishment of the State of Israel and provided it with support and assistance. Later, the United States of America continued the same approach through policies that continue to harm the Palestinian people to this day. The Palestinian people have suffered from a harsh historical injustice, and the time has come for Britain to apologize to the Palestinian people and provide fair compensation for the suffering and tragedies that have lasted for decades.
I also take this opportunity to invite academics and researchers to prepare research papers, master's theses, doctoral dissertations, and cultural and academic articles about ARTA. We are a voluntary association that has been working for twenty-five years and has achieved professional, cultural, and ethical accomplishments worthy of study and documentation by researchers, academics, and historians.
Once again, I salute you and welcome you to ARTA, an association that is open to any translator or academic, whether Arab or non-Arab, because we believe that culture, knowledge, and language are bridges of human communication among nations and peoples.
In conclusion, we may in the future honor the President of your university in appreciation of you and your university’s academic standing, should our personal circumstances and capabilities allow us to do so.

رسالة إلى الأكاديميين وموظفي جامعة كارديف
تحية العلم والثقافة والإنجاز والتاريخ،
لقد لاحظت انضمام مئات الأكاديميين والموظفين من جامعتكم إلى شبكات آرتا، الأمر الذي يؤكد قوة وتأثير آرتا كحركة ثقافية عالمية تسعى إلى خدمة الإنسان والعقل والمعرفة. وأرحب بكم جميعاً، وأرجو أن يعتبر كل واحد منكم سفيراً لآرتا في العالم.
كما أحيي من خلالكم الأكاديميين والمثقفين والمترجمين البريطانيين، وأحرار بريطانيا الذين وقفوا إلى جانب الشعب الفلسطيني في محنته التاريخية المستمرة منذ أكثر من قرن من الزمان. فمنذ عام 1916 وحتى عام 1967 دعمت بريطانيا قيام دولة إسرائيل وقدمت لها الدعم والمساندة، ثم واصلت الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية هذا النهج بسياسات ما تزال تؤذي الشعب الفلسطيني حتى اليوم. لقد تعرض الشعب الفلسطيني لظلم تاريخي قاسٍ، وقد آن الأوان لبريطانيا أن تعتذر للشعب الفلسطيني وأن تقدم تعويضات عادلة عن المعاناة والمآسي التي استمرت لعقود طويلة.
وأستغل هذه المناسبة لأدعو الأكاديميين والباحثين إلى إعداد أبحاث ورسائل ماجستير ودكتوراه ومقالات علمية وثقافية عن آرتا، فنحن جمعية تطوعية تعمل منذ خمسة وعشرين عاماً، وقد حققنا إنجازات مهنية وثقافية وأخلاقية تستحق أن يكتب عنها الباحثون والأكاديميون والمؤرخون.
أحييكم مرة أخرى، وأرحب بكم في جمعية آرتا، وهي جمعية مفتوحة لانضمام أي مترجم أو أكاديمي، سواء كان عربياً أو غير عربي، إيماناً منا بأن الثقافة والمعرفة واللغة جسور للتواصل الإنساني بين الشعوب.
ختاماً، قد نقوم مستقبلاً بتكريم رئيس جامعتكم تقديراً لكم ولمكانة جامعتكم الأكاديمية، إذا سمحت ظروفنا الشخصية وإمكاناتنا بذلك.
