Pages section, including Venue notes for both Mortals, Vamps &
Werewolves. Once the timeline is finished, that'll go up as well. Also
of note is the character quiz, which will be key (in conjunction with
a character's Background) in my determining who will recieve what in
the way of starting experience (if any). As a Chapter, only two of our
starting characters may begin as "Established Kindred" (75xp), while
three more may begin as "Up-and-commers" (35xp). To ease up on the
(possible) competition and put to rest any concerns about conflict of
interest, my own staple PC (yes, I get one too - there's always the
chance I might be able to actualy sit down and play!) will be starting
as a "Neonate" (0xp) - which is where the remaining characters will be
starting as. Even if you don't want to shoot for the bonus xp, I still
recomend writing something up for Background & taking the Quiz. I'm
nixing the option of reducing Humanity for extra xp until I get a
ruling from on-high.
Venue - given the lack of rules on Cybernetics as of yet, and the lack
of development outside of the Mortal & Vampire Venues, our focus for
characters I feel should initaly center around the Kindred. That's
where the rest of the organization is at as things currently stand.
Currently I'm planning on our first session being the second Saturday
in May (the 12th), where we will finish up characters and pull our
merry band together. Also, while Dark Tomorrows is primarily a LARP
association, they're not adverse to Table-top, thus (at least initaly)
we will be the latter. If we start growing to a size where LARPing
would just be easier (or our current crew got a bit braver) we'll
consider that then.
One last request. When posting to this list, please sign with your
name & membership number (because when in Rome...). If you helped me
sign up the initial charter, you should have one (and likely recieved
an invitation to assorted DT mailing lists as well), so if you don't
please let me know and I'll shake the tree until one falls from on
high. If you are joining us post-charter, you need to go to the Dark
Tomorrows website (currently to be found at: http://wofdr.com/darktomorrows/
), click "Join DT" and fill out the form.

a) Tomorrow's our first meeting. We'll be finishing up character
creation and establish our initial setting/situation. I'll be judging
backgrounds for bonus xp, so if you can't actualy be there, but still
want to take a stab at getting the bonus you NEED to send me a
background & fill out the Character Quiz! THe sooner I get it, the
more likely I'll read it (please send it in before 7pm Saturday -
after that I may not get to it until it's too late, as I intend to
make my decision at that time so folks can finish characters).
b) I HAVE had my ruling on high about burning Humanity for bonus xp.
The option is as per the book.
c) Rules wise there's little difference between MET Requiem & Vampire:
Requiem. Where the LARP & Table-top rules differ we'll use the later
for character creation purposes. The big difference there realy is in
the 3 kinds of Vampire status, which cannot initialy be bought up past
2. Also, you may not have more than one kind of Covenant Status at one
time.
