Dearly beloved in Christ,
Today topic as you might have already guessed, is about the shortness or uncertainty of life. We will meditate on this topic by looking at a parable which Jesus told his disciples, and at the end we will also hear what Jesus has to say to us. As both the passages are self explanatory, my words ends here.
God Bless you

WORDLY
LIFE EXPLAINED
(Luke 12:16-21) And he
spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought
forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do,
because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do:
I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my
fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid
up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto
him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall
those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for
himself, and is not rich, toward God.
WHAT
SHOULD I DO?
(Luke 21:34-36) And take
heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with
surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon
you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face
of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be
accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to
stand before the Son of man.
