THY will be done

Dearly beloved in Christ,

I hope and pray that this message finds you well in spirit and health, through the mighty grace of our loving heavenly Father. The Bible says in Lamentations ch3v22-23 "It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness".

Yesterday, I was wondering about what our next topic will be. I pondered hard, and though a few topics did come to my mind, nothing caught my interest or I didn't feel the urge of the Spirit, prompting me to write.

After a while, I realized how foolish I was in forcing myself to think and write an article on my own, because since the beginning it has been my earnest desire and prayer to God that this ministry be a media, which declares HIS word, and not one person's opinion or feeling.

Suppose, if I had dared to write on my own or shared my feelings, it would have been a foolish attempt, because I know my words are empty, and not worthy of any consideration. Without the grace and power of God, I will be like a babbler, or a man producing unintelligent sounds, which none can understand or gain from.

In the same way sometimes we knowingly or unknowingly, instead of asking God for strength and the wisdom to understand and do what God wants us to do, try to force God to do things our way, We tend to forget, that God knows what is best for us, much better than we do. As the Bible says in Jeremiah ch29v11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end".

I hope you all remember the story of Jonah, how when he tried to escape the work which God had asked him to do faced terrible disaster. Not only was Jonah effected, but the ship he was traveling also suffered. In the same way, sometimes our decisions, not only affect us, but also our family or people who are dependent on us.

So, let us examine our lives and see, if we like Jonah are running against God's plan.

It maybe you are praying for a better job, house, or circumstances. It may be an alliance you are seeking, or it may be a decision to start a business, whatsoever it be my friend, make sure that what you are doing or planning to do is according to the will of God.

I pray that God guides you in all your ways.
