1.

Hans K0HB had recieved email from a post on this newsgroup from
Mark Moragan KB9RQZ. Hans apparently did want the messages and It had
come to my attention that Hans is "threating" to sue KB9RQZ for having
these messages posted on here and be sent to his inbox. I recieved an
email from Mark Morgan KB9RQZ asking to consider to have Hans BAN from
the Discussion/Newsgroup, Amateur Radio Policy. For reasons address
below the following actions were taken.

2.

When a person subscribes to newsgroup, or a discussion board at
anytime they are allowed to set the settings on if they wish to recieve
email of the messages on that board. A person may recieve email in
bulk, by message or none at all. It is up to the person subscribed to
the board to set the setting, those setting after a person subscribes
can be changed by the subscriber.
Amateur Radio Policy is a discussion board that created to get
away from ALL the abuse and harassment on the newsgroup
rec.radio.amateur.policy and for serious amateur radio discussion. As a
strong believer in the First Amendment and after reviewing the post
entitled "what will the next policy question be after the R&O ending
code testing be" by KB9RQZ, the post was directed as a amateur radio
policy discussion and was therefore a vaild post. The following actions
were taken to resolved this matter. K0HB will no longer recieve email
from this newsgroup, athough KB9RQZ feels that KOHB should be BANNED
from the discussion board, no information has been given to warrent a
BAN from this discussion board. The stopping of email being sent to his
email address will resolve this problem. If he reinstates the email, he
must understand that HE signed up to recieving the email and any post
that is posted on here and recieved at his email address, is vaild and
is not spam and no right to complain about recieving it. A user can
stop email recieving at anytime, if not email me and I'll stop it.
Accordingly, the email has been turned off, and may be turned on by the
user with the understanding that they accepted the terms of recieving
the email. and the request for a BAN of K0HB is hereby DENIED until
evidence is shown otherwised.
