Hi, 

I was asked to show some of the VT-100 emulator terminals I have.  

I've dug out a few to show and we can talk about them and I can give you my opinion on each.

I got my 5.25” drives working as 8” Altair drives with the FDC+ (Drive Type 4) and can show that if anyone is interested.

Hi, 

IF you do the KiCAD import demo, and I do show off a handful of terminal emulators that should be plenty for one ZOOOM so get your FDC+ working and save that demo for another ZOOM.  There's no rush, but I'm sure there's plenty of interest.

The FDC+ can’t be fixed during the Zoom meeting. It is more than likely a problem with the PIC that will either need to be replaced or reprogrammed with a PIC programmer.

The other one that doesn’t work in Drive Type 4 mode may also be a PIC problem. I am waiting to hear back from Mike on that one too.

Hi, 

I didn't mean fix the FDC+ in a ZOOM, just get it fixed so you can demo the switch settings, the hardware connections and the software ... in a new ZOOM next week or later ...

Sorry about my late reply  ..wish I saw this earlier ..   anyways I would like to see this next weekend if possible.   

This last week in my 8800c I have my FDC+ able to boot a 5.25 cp/m 2,2 diskette  but disk acxess is inconsistent and I get bad sector errors when running some command l like aformat (trying to create a new diskette) 
I dont recall how I made the diskette thinking I used Mike's "PC2flop" program.  I will play some more with it this week ...
