Hi, 

Here are a few I've come up with, it's time you added to this thread so we can choose those that are more common to the group.  

Why 74HCTxxx chips can't replace regular 74xxx TTL chips?

Can the S100 Bus Display board be used with another board at the opposite end of the backplane to do backplane tests for continuity and shorts etc.?  

Is there a CP/M v3 BOOT .dsk?

Is there a CDOS BOOT .dsk?

Can my TeleTec Z80 SBC-1 I have work as a stand-alone computer or do I need to have a Bus Master board to use it?

Here are a few questions concerning .dsk image files for the Sunday 9/21 Zoom Call ..

• What tools are used to create a dsk file? 
• I have found and setup ImageDisk for DOS are there any others
• Is there a way to add files to the .dsk file from Linux or Windows ?
• Can a dsk file image be copied to a real floppy disk 8" / 5.25" / 3.5" ? 
• I have dsk files which boot via FDC+ serial and work great, now I would like to copy those working DSK images to a real floppy disk.
• Is there a central repo for these .dsk image files?  If not, should there be one ?

Joe, great questions. I can set up a demo to show how to do this.

The main answer is, it depends on which disk controller, console hardware, monitor rom, and floppy media. I can show how to do it with the FDC+, 2SIO, Altmon, and 8” media (all my 5”/3.5” stuff is still in boxes) if that’s a combo people want to see.

I can also show how I move files between my host computer and DSK images with AltairZ80 simulator. There are also cpmtools and I think someone made a Windows GUI program for transferring files which I could never get to work. Hopefully someone can demo those too.

That would be a good combo to demonstrate and thanks again for stepping up with another demo !

BTW.. your last demo on FDC+, ESP32 Serial server and serial CP/M was awesome and helped me get my system finally running!  

Since then I have been able to confirm (3) of my CPU cards are functional and I still have more to test.  Now I just need to get/build a front panel to test the rest of the CPU cards.
