Calling for Brothers to serve as STL Pro Chapter Officers—Next STL Pro meeting January 5, 2025 at 1:30pm; Now taking (self-) nominations for STL Pro Chapter Officers
Hello Brothers!
Thank you to those that were able to meet Sunday online; it was great to ‘see’ you (in the boxes) ;-) As of today, nominations for President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer are officially open! We happily accept and welcome self-nominations. We are looking for those willing to serve for all four of these positions, including our treasurer for those of you who may be wondering; our brother Patrick Kenny is retiring! Brother Patrick will be moving in 2025 as well, and so, we are looking for a new treasurer. A big congratulations to him for this exciting next chapter and we are so grateful to him for the many years he has given to us, serving as our treasurer.
As we are still experiencing post-Covid effects on chapter activity, etc., we want everyone to know that we do not anticipate the work or effort for any one of these positions for the coming year to be much more than minimal. Many of us are very busy these days and feeling like we don’t have the bandwidth to serve. Please know, as has always been our way in the past, there are brothers that will happily be around to help you, if you decide to serve in one of these roles. No experience is required.
If you are not sure or want to learn more about any of these roles first, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of our current exec. members, Bill Courtney, Jenn Huang, Sandy Sansing, and Patrick Kenny, who would be happy to provide you more info or answer any questions you may have. Please share this message with any brother you think may be interested in serving, or simply interested in checking out STL Pro.
Nominations can be made by email or private facebook message or at our next meeting.
If you are currently available, please put a hold in your calendar for January 5, 2025 at 1:30pm, which is the date for our next meeting. We are tentatively planning for this meeting to be hybrid to allow for both in-person and virtual attendees. We also anticipate that during this Jan. 5th meeting, nominations will be moved to be closed and new officers will be elected and sworn in.
