Hello Neighbors,
My name is Kenya Thompson, and I’m a new project manager with PARKS. I’m excited to share that improvements are on the way for James H. Robert’s Playground in Allston! Phase 1 of the project is just beginning and will focus on updating the splash pad, improving drainage, and caring for the park’s trees.
This is only the start—we’re also developing a long-term plan, shaped by community input, to guide future upgrades to the playground, seating, and plantings.
Community meetings are expected to begin in December, and I’ll share more details soon. We’d love for you to be part of the conversation and help shape the future of this important neighborhood space.
