Subject: Invitation: Next Jackson Mann Public Meeting
Dear Allston-Brighton Neighbor,
The City of Boston is hosting the next meeting regarding the future of the Jackson Mann site and a new Allston-Brighton Community Center on Wednesday August 12, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. In order to accommodate busy summer schedules for residents, the meeting will be virtual. Here is the registration link.
The meeting will focus on the results of the survey to collect feedback about the future of the site, share data on BPS enrollment and demographic trends, and discuss options for the future of the site. The anonymized survey data has been posted and can be reviewed on the new BCYF Allston-Brighton capital project webpage. All studies, community meeting materials, and project information have been moved to this new webpage and we will be using the new webpage to share project updates going forward.
As the Mayor shared in our previous community meeting in May, we are working to reach community consensus on the future of the Jackson Mann site by the end 2026, about what else will go on the site along with the new community center. We look forward to continuing this process with you as we move into the next project stages, including co-design of the future of the community center and site.
