We're partnering with the Fine Arts Work Center to offer scholarships to six emerging Boston-based poets who are looking to hone their craft at a week-long workshop in Provincetown, MA this summer. The scholarship covers tuition, lodging, and a stipend for
travel and food.

How do you move through the city? Artists Yujin Cao and Wei Wu are now accepting portrait submissions to be part of CROSSROADS, an upcoming exhibition at Boston City Hall.
Share an image and a few words about movement from winter into spring. Selected submissions will be artistically interpreted and become part of a collective portrait of Boston, presented through a video projection at the opening reception of the exhibition.
Submissions are due by January 25, 2026.

Created through the Vermilion Bilingual Theater Incubator, this Mandarin and English production challenges traditional ideas of femininity, love, and agency across Western and Chinese literature by bringing together two heroines with parallel stories: Juliet
from Shakespeare’s classics and Jul-Yingtai from Chinese folklore. This production is free and open to all thanks to the City of Boston’s Strand Theatre Grant.
