Article 80 Modernization Improving Development Review | Public Meeting

This is the first of two public meetings being held (both with identical presentations) by the Planning Department’s Article 80 Modernization project, to share the early actions we are taking to improve Boston's Article 80 Development Review process and draft zoning amendments to correct outdated language in Article 80 and introduce changes to the Boston Civic Design Commission procedures.

Interpretation will be provided in Spanish, Haitian Creole, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Cantonese. Additional interpretation services and document translation services are available upon request at no cost to you. Please request interpretation services no later than 5 days before the meeting date. This is the new housing at the Enterprise Research Campus that's going up on Western Ave. 345 new housing units total, with 86 being income restricted (25% of total units). Those income -restricted units are going for different rents based on a person's income. A couple of them are renting to folks earning 30% of area median income (AMI), which is really low.

Tony's original email has the actual rents and income levels.

In my opinion, this is a good housing win for the community.
