Thought you might enjoy this WGBH coverage of national Republican comments on the congressional district maps we drew in Massachusetts in 2021. I previously circulated an in-depth piece from Commonwealth Beacon that speaks to the same national conversation, and also covers the work we are now doing to prepare for the 2030 Census. Regarding 2030 Census Preparation, on Friday (October 31) we are holding a hearing on "Increasing Participation and Building Trust in the 2030 Census."  The hearing will be at 9:30AM in Room A-2 at the state house and will be livestreamed on the legislative website.  See the hearing notice here.  We have a strong collection of witnesses planning to participate.
