From January 15 to February 15, 2026, Boston residents can VOTE and decide on how $2.2 million in Participatory Budgeting funds will be used for community-driven projects across the City. Selected projects are one-time, non-recurring investments. This is an
opportunity to select the initiatives that will have the biggest impact in your community.

How to Vote?
Starting January 15th, vote online by visiting Boston.gov/participate. In-person
voting will take place at City Hall through a paper ballot. Voting will be available in multiple languages.
NOTE: A cell phone number is needed to access the PB voting portal. If a phone number is not an option, please request a one-time code for voting by emailing
p...@boston.gov.
Next Steps:
In late February, projects with the most votes will receive funding up to $2.2 million. OPB will then work with departments on contracting and awarding projects, determining implementation timelines in the Spring 2026.
