This session will highlight two valuable, no-cost opportunities: the BU and Boston Public Schools (BPS) Dr. Carol Johnson District Leadership Fellowship, available to BPS educators and leaders, and the Upward Bound program, available to BPS students.
Dr. Jalene Tamerat, Director of the BU/BPS Carol Johnson Leadership Fellowship, will provide an overview of the fellowship, including application details, how it works, and class information. Reggie Jean, Director of BU's Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math Science Programs, will discuss how these federally funded programs support low-income, first-generation college-bound students and how interested students can apply.
