Boston Landing
Project Team: NB Development Group (Developer) Elkus Manfredi Architects (Architect) JMA & Associates (Contractor)
Boston Landing is a mixed-use development encompassing approximately 15 acres of land along the Massachusetts Turnpike in Boston's Brighton neighborhood. Located along Guest Street,
the property is a former industrial area that once served as the region's largest stockyard. The revitalization of this development will turn the area into a vibrant 21st century destination for like-minded companies, with a focus on work/life balance. Boston
Landing's vision is to create a state-of-the-art development that complements the existing neighborhood fabric through the creation of new office space, retail stores, restaurants, and sports-related uses. Boston Landing is currently home to the New Balance
World Headquarters, the Boston Bruins Practice and Training Facility and companies such as Bose, Roche and Proteostasis. Currently under construction is the Boston Celtics Practice and Training Facility at
40 Guest Street opening June 2018, and the newly opened Lantera residential building totally 295 units.

Boston Landing MBTA Stop
Project Team:NB Development Group, Skanska, STV, MassDOT, MBTA, Keolis And
the City of Boston
The new Boston Landing at Allston Brighton Commuter Rail Station, along the Framingham/Worcester line ending at South Station, opened in May 2017. Commuter rail is the lynchpin to the Boston Landing development in that it
expands the choice of transportation options to the site thereby unlocking the economic development potential of a burgeoning district. In addition, the Station returns commuter rail to the Allston Brighton neighborhood that has long been underserved by public
transportation.

Allston Yards Redevelopment
Project Team: Stop & Shop, The Bozzuto Group, New England Development, South Side Investment Partners (Developers), Stantec (Architects)
The existing, suburban-style shopping center at
60 Everett Street will be redeveloped with housing, open space, offices, retail, and a new, state-of-the-art grocery store.
The Allston Yards redevelopment will create a new neighborhood at the nexus of Allston, Brighton, and the new Boston Landing district. The project will provide and build
upon a number of critical infrastructure investments: extension and expansion of the street grid through the site, new connections to the Boston Landing MBTA station, improved pedestrian and bicycle connections, and the creation of new pedestrian-scale, publicly-accessible
open spaces. All of this will transform a unique site – currently occupied by an older shopping plaza and large surface parking lots – into a new neighborhood.

Boston Volvo Village
Project Team: The Ciccolo Group (Developers), Arrowstreet (Architects)
Boston Volvo Village in Allston, MA is an adaptive reuse of a 72,000 square foot industrial building constructed in 1924 and was the original home of International Harvester Farm Equipment.
Arrowstreet's design will bring this mixed-use project back to its original industrial style and luster. The new Volvo showroom will highlight Volvo's leadership in technology and evolution in the automotive industry while also reducing the impact on the neighborhood
from a 4-acre parking lot to 3 floors of the 5 story building. In addition to the automotive sales area, the building, equipped with a vehicle sized freight elevator and floors with high structural capacity and tall ceilings, will house two floors of office
R&D use. For this project, Arrowstreet worked closely with our client to study multiple changes in program and project parameters, including a late addition of historic tax credits.
The space will become a model for the future for urban car dealerships with limited land. Vehicle storage will move from the parking lot to inside with less vehicle's in physical inventory
due to the emergence of online car shopping and the evolving future of autonomous vehicles. Preliminary plans for Phase 2 call for the present car dealership on
75 North Beacon Street to be developed into several new buildings consisting of multi-family housing and retail program.
