Dear Boston Community,
Love Your Block is back for Boston 250!
Mayor Michelle Wu and the Office of Civic Organizing are pleased to invite you to join us for Boston’s annual Love Your Block Cleanups on
Friday, April 24 and Saturdays, April 25 and May 2, 2026.
Love Your Block has been a key part of civic engagement in Boston, serving as a testament to the impact we can have on our communities when we work together. Each year, thousands of Bostonians take part in neighborhood beautification and cleanup projects across
our streets, parks, and sidewalks.
This year, Love Your Block also joins the celebration of the 250th anniversary of American democracy by encouraging residents to give back to their neighborhoods. Save the date for a weekend of community, civic work, and fun. Cleanup sites will be hosted citywide,
and we encourage you to host or volunteer in your community to meet your neighbors and help beautify the streets you walk on every day.
Sign-ups to either host a site or volunteer individually will open on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
Love Your Block cleanups will take place across Boston on the following dates:

Our office will provide the tools, resources, and t-shirts as we team up to celebrate our neighborhoods. The City is able to support beautification projects that take place on public right-of-way (streets, sidewalks)
and in City-owned parks or public spaces. Whether it's picking up litter or working to beautify a park nearby, every project helps care for our city.
More information on the exact pick-up locations for tools, resources, and T-shirts will be announced when the sign-up forms open on March 10, 2026.
