Hello Everyone,

An unprecedented campaign is currently underway to subvert the community review process, to misrepresent their intentions, to mislead the residents and our elected officials.

On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, the public is going to get a tutorial on how the inside game is played to the benefit of the owner of the property, Maverick Media and Lamar Advertising and a select group of individuals who are prepared to sell out their community.

Here’s a couple of additional examples:

Below is the current agenda item for the Zoning Board of Appeal hearing on October 29.  Interesting isn’t it?  I wonder if it would have stayed the same, if I didn’t catch it, and the mistake probably would have been acknowledged at the hearing.  Would you think a billboard was involved?

Secondly as part of Inspectional Services Department “transparency guidelines” all proponents seeking a building permit are required to post a public notice on the property.  I’ve attached a photo of the sign posted at the 50 Leo M. Birmingham Pkwy project as an example.

I have never seen a public notice posted at 88-94 Lincoln St.

Because of this sham, your letters of opposition need to reach a wider audience, including our local elected officials and the Zoning Board of Appeal.

If you can join us on October 29, that would be great as well.

Thank you again for putting community first.

Tony

Hi Tony, When I talked to stephani...@boston.gov at the ZBA, she told be to also include the ZBA emails to altagracia....@boston.gov and antonella...@boston.gov

I also included several additional email for the Mayor's Office.

Mayor's Chief of Staff:  david.m...@boston.gov.
Director of Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services: Jerome Smith: Jerome...@boston.gov
Mayor's official email: ma...@boston.gov
The Mayor, through his official correspondence email:
City Council President: Andrea Campbell: andrea....@boston.gov

It sounds like they are only listing one of the four zoning violations for the 88-94 Electronic Billboard(63 feet hight, 48 feet wide):

1. Article 11, Section 7 Electronic Signs, Electronic signs are forbidden within 150' from Residential District and elsewhere in the city.

2. Article 51, Section 55 which basically states no new billboards in Allston-Brighton Neighborhood.   This would be a new billboard.

3. Article 51, Section 17, Height excessive.

4. Article 51, Section 17, Front Yard (51-51.1 Street Wall Continuity; 51-57.2 CEBA).
