A History of Urban Gardening
The first Gathering took place in 1976 at city hall, attended by community gardeners and organizers who were advocating to local government to protect green space for urban agriculture. Now the conference is attended by a diverse cross section of 500+ community members involved in agriculture, gardening, land stewardship, and community organizing in the Greater Boston/Eastern Massachusetts area.
We hope you join us in this celebration of spring, community, and learning
