Dear Community Member –

Community-based organizations and tribal organizations are receiving this notification in accordance with the MEPA Public Involvement Protocol for Environmental Justice Populations, which took effect on January 1, 2022. More information is available on the MEPA website.

 

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is sending this advance notice to inform you of MassDOT’s intent to file a Notice of Project Change for the I-90 Allston Multimodal Project (Allston Multimodal Project | Mass.gov) with the MEPA Office within 45-90 days of this notice. An Environmental Justice Screening Form, in English, Amharic, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Russian and Haitian Creole, is attached which provides general information about the Project and how community members can become engaged. Future environmental documentation will further assess potential effects of the Project on Environmental Justice Populations.
