Job Requirements

•    Support the resiliency program by developing a front- and back-end system for tracking availability metrics.
•    Use Python (FastAPI) for backend development and React for frontend, hosted on an internal IDP based on Backstage.
•    Integrate with third-party monitoring tools and leverage Azure Storage Tables for storage and task queuing.
•    Write, test, and document technical work products according to organizational standards.
•    Conduct root cause analysis and design self-contained systems.
•    Coach team members and lead implementations of significant capabilities.
•    Ensure observability, supportability, and security in systems under development.
•    Mentor teammates and introduce new approaches to problems.
Desired Skills & Experience:

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
•    6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions.
•    Experience with noSQL systems like Azure Storage Table.
•    Familiarity with Backstage IDP platform.
•    Airline industry experience is a plus.

Skills, Licenses & Certifications:
•    Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, FastAPI, React.
•    Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, GitHub Actions.
•    Knowledge of PostgreSQL, REST, GraphQL, Azure.
•    Test automation tools: Postman, PyTest, Cucumber, Playwright, Wiremock/Mockito/Moq.
•    Strong understanding of performance optimization, object-oriented design, Agile methodologies, and DevOps toolchain.
