Okay I need peat moss but the only quanity avalible is 3.8 ft bails.
I live in northeast ohio, I would like to find a place that will sell
me a greater quanity. Also a place that I can buy from that will not
break my buget.
I found one place but I would have thousands of dollars in it and that
is not what I can do.
I have checked the places that sell soil and they do not carry that
much peat moss.
If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate them.
I am looking to get a yard or two not much more than that.
Thanks Chuckie

What are you going to use it for? (If I might ask?)

No, LOL. I just don't think peat moss is your answer. It has no nutrients. Just have a load or two of compost dropped. That's what I did.

I'm going to unsubscribe to this group because I didn't realize my name would be put on it. I'll come back on another day when I have more time. I think we talked before, and I am in NE OH also.

o.k # 1 - if ya want peat moss check out Ball seeds (goggle it should
get you their address) I belive they sell peat in the big shot bags as
well as several other sizes

#2 - peat moss direct in a garden may no be the best idea if not mixed
in well it will dry out and once it dose that is accually repels water!
makeing it impossible for plants to get good moisture , I say good old
manure or compost would work better it just looking to losen up soil,

but maybe you have another aplication in mind :)

I put a flower bed in last year using the same formula and the soil is
so soft and easy to pull the weeds out.
I thought I would do the same with the vegetable garden

Well then I would be looking into places like I mentioned above like
Ballseed.com they have a hard good section that alows you to get peat
in many sizes , also JVK dose the same but not sure if they are
avaliable in ohio.
