Jack’s Home Cooking – The Inspiration:
Nonna’s house on Sundays. The whole family. Aunts, cousins, uncles, neighbors, and friends. The smell of tomatoes, garlic, and rosemary wafting out from the kitchen. Everybody sitting around the big table, shoulder to shoulder. Drinking wine, joking, laughing, teasing while we wait for the food. Eagerly anticipating, yet not in a rush. Big plates of pasta arrive, along with sausage and peppers, chicken, meatballs, and tomato sauce … The food disappears, soaking up every last drop of sauce with our bread.
Jack's promises to serve you a meal with good friends, good food, and good times.
Our Menu for Monday, January, 9th:
Drink: Glass of wine (red / white), or special house cocktail with dinner.
Salad options:
House salad: mixed greens with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, tossed in a house-made vinaigrette
or
Caprese salad: mozzarella di bufala, vine ripe tomatoes and basil over mixed greens, drizzled with and age balsamic vinaigrette
Appetizers:
Sauteed Portobella mushrooms: sauteed in olive oil, garlic & fresh basil
or
Eggplant parmesan: fresh eggplant, homemade marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, mozzarella and parmesan cheese
Entrees:
Jack's Rigatoni Sunday Gravy: rigatoni tossed with meatballs, sausage, ricotta and Jack's homemade slowly simmered Sunday sauce
or
Filet of sole francaise: filet of sole pan fried with creamy butter and fresh lemon
Dessert:
homemade cannoli
or
chef's daily sorbet
$45 per person (cash) includes four courses, tax, tip, and a glass of wine or cocktail.
