Fornaro Restaurant and Gourmet Pizza, is a boutique restaurant nestled in the heart of Coconut Grove. The restaurant offers authentic Italian cuisine with a modern twist and is known for its signature Polpettone dish. The restaurant is the first U.S. venture for veteran restaurateur and owner, Lorenzo Ramon. With more than 20 years of culinary experience and five critically acclaimed restaurants in Sao Paolo and Bahia, Brazil, Ramon has spent the last year in Miami perfecting his twist on unassuming yet delicious traditional Italian dishes. Casual, yet upscale in presentation and taste, Fornaro brings the delicacies of Italy to be enjoyed by all.

Tomorrow's Dinner:

Appetizers – to be served family style

Tomato Bruschetta

Homemade toasted bread, fresh tomatoes, garlic, fresh basil, olive oil and truffle salt

Polenta

Crispy polenta served with Gorgonzola sauce and parmesan cheese

Sausage Bread

Toscana sausage, tomato sauce, chopped onion and Parmesan cheese

Ground filet mignon, mozzarella cheese, fresh tomato sauce and parmesan cheese served with French fries

Chicken Limone


Grilled chicken filet baked and topped with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese, served with French fries

Fiocchi Saffron

Fiocchi pasta stuffed with pears and gorgonzola with saffron and topped in sun dried tomato sauce

Piemonte Pizza

Artichoke hearts, mushrooms, tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and truffle oil

Fornaro is located just off of US1 at 2750 SW 26th Avenue, Coconut Grove, in the same plaza as Cove Bagel. Ample street and regular parking available.

Please note that if you do RSVP, don't come and do not cancel or cancel after the RSVP deadline and the restaurant charges us for your place, you will be responsible for this amount. Your RSVP is confirmation you are attending and we will hold you to that. Keep in mind the hosts are all volunteers and the organizers are not making money off this dinner group.  The hosts end up paying out of their own pocket.  Please don't do this-- not nice :(
