I'm looking at several solutions for a customer of mine and wanted to
know if AlarmTraq supports the monitoring and alerting for TDM voice
devices such as Avaya Definity PBXs.

Thanks!

Thanks Jim........to be more specific, does alarmtraq only support
monitoring of Definity ECS Releases 9.5 through 10.x. The reason I ask
is that when I looked at Avaya's AIM solution for fault monitoring,
they only support those versions and don't support anything previous to
that.

AlarmTraq supports all Definity systems from the oldest System 75's to
the latest Communications Manager 3.1 systems.

-gburganalyst:

Our group monitors/maintains quite a few systems with Alarmtraq. Mostly
Avaya G3r & S8XXX servers. We will be setting up a few Nortel's soon.
We have tried using our AIM release but find it slow in addition to
only Avaya device monitoring. We also use ASA, HPOV and Orion...
Alarmtraq is a great tool!

Hi............would like to hear more about AIM user deficiencies since
we have quite a number of avaya devices. But, since we have
multi-vendor devices, kind of shying away from using more than one
monitoring tool. AlarmTraq does look good so far. Thanks for the
information and feel free to contact me directly if you wish to compare
notes!
