As Salaamu Alaikoum,
Today someone joined the website and asked
the Question, Is the Kaaba the same house that the angels in Paradise go to to
pray to Allah in Paradise. The answer given was,
No, the Kaaba is of this world, not Paradise and the angels glorify Allah in all
the heavens and are not limited to just one place. The house the
questioner was referring to is, 'Al Bait Al Ma'Mur'. Imam
Bukhari and Muslim mention this place in the Hadith of the Prophets (sa) night
journey through the heavens:
"...Then I was taken up to the seventh heaven. Gabriel asked the (gate) to
be opened. It was said: Who is he? He said: Gabriel It was said. Who is with
thee? He replied: Muhammad (may peace be upon him.) It was said: Has he been
sent for? He replied: He has indeed been sent for. (The gate) was opened for us
and there I found Ibrahim (Abraham peace be upon him) reclining against the
bait-ul-Ma'mur and there enter into it seventy thousand angels every day, never
to visit (this place) again..."
So what then is Al Bait ul Mamur?
Al Bait ul Mamur is the House of
Allah in which Allah's throne is
found. It is NOT the Kaaba.
It is said by some of the scholars that
every day 70 thousand angels make pilgramidge to this
house and never leave it., but no one has stated that all the angels go there to pray
everyday.
Other scholars say that the Kaaba in Mecca
is positioned underneath Al Bait ul Mamur. Allah
knows best if this is true.
