BA/Data Analyst

Location: NYC

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: $45/hr

 

Project Role

Leads requirement phase of projects involving multiple vendors, multiple platforms, and leading edge technologies . Transform broad business strategies into action plans, typically involving technology components

 

Required Skills:  

 

-BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science

-Candidates should have 6+ years of relevant experience:

-Created SDLC deliverables, including business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and test plan/Cases,UML language, Rational, Visio Proficient

-Developed work plans, Conducted meetings and Liaison with Developers

-Tech Business Analyst/Data Analyst that knows how to compose reports in business objects

-Must know how to compose reports in business objects

-Must have the ability to map data

-Must have the ability to read data models

-Must be very strong with data in general

-Must have experience working with developers

-Strong database background a huge plus

-Must know how to read data models and write sql queries

-Must be a multi-tasker

-Handle a lot of projects at once

-Ability to integrate the potentially diverse needs of many customers, stakeholders and senior management and successfully manage these varying perspectives

-Ability to lead meetings, excellent communication skills both oral and written
