Data Modeler

Location: New York

Duration: 6 + months

Rate: $50/hr

Looking for Data modeler to build and support business intelligence application .Individual should have a strong data warehousing background with proven hands-on skills.

The manager has emphasized that he does not want to see ETL Developers. He wants to see data modelers with the below skills.

Required Skills:

- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in data warehouse data modeling, data management, data transformation, metadata and business intelligence tools.
- Strong data modeling skills (no part timers, do not want an ETL developer that has some modeling experience.)
- Insurance industry background

- Experience creating data (ETL) mapping documents between source systems and the target data warehouse.

- Experience with SQL query techniques and tuning SQL in an Oracle, DB2 and UDB environment.

- Strong analytical skills with Ability to multi-tasking several projects.

- Experience facilitating requirements and design meetings
- Should have good communication and requirement gathering skills.
