Position: Data Warehouse Developer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6 + Months
 
Job Function
The Data warehouse Developer will work closely with other members of development team and business analysts to deliver high quality business application for business and c-level executives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design data models and ETL processes to deliver high quality information to the end user
Implement ETL flows using common ETL tools , SQL scripts and store procedures.
Translate business requirements into analytics algorithms and data flows

Knowledge and Skills
Strong data modeling skills - star schema, entity relationships, slowly changing dimensions
Excellent SQL capabilities
Fair knowledge of database administration
Data Profiling, Data Validation, Data cleansing experience (DeDuplication, fuzzy matching, Data Stewardship)  
Stored Procedures knowledge
Extensive experience at least with one ETL tool - preferable Talend
Good understanding of Database scalability techniques and Parallel ETL flows.
Good Java programming skills
Good understanding of data warehouse life cycle.
Sharp, analytical, knows their CS fundamentals and is very hands-on

Education
A Bachelors degree with a major in CS, CIS, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.

Experience
Minimum of three to five (3-5) years development experience in developing data warehouses.
