SYSTEMS INTEGRATOR / Java JCAPS
Systems Integrator designs, develops, tests, and maintains the Data Integration scripts and jobs that are required to extract, transform, clean, and move data and metadata so that it can be loaded into a data warehouse, data mart, or operational data store. He/she accomplishes this while working for mid-sized data integration / data warehousing / data conversion project(s).
Key Skills:
· 5+ years experience with Data Integration environments / corresponding concepts
· 4+ years experience with JavaCAPS
· Must have experience with Java, JMS, XML and Web Services
· Excellent SQL programming skills
· Excellent relational database knowledge
· Excellent problem solving skills
· Good ETL staging environment development skills
Secondary Skills:
· Component design, development and deployment Experience using Microsoft BizTalk ESB Tool
· Integration experience with other data integration tools such as Informatica, IBM DataStage,etc,.
· Comfortable with physical database administration concepts such as table partitioning, materialized views, and indexing strategies and their role within the Data Warehousing environment. Corresponding experience with relational database management systems such as Oracle and SQL Server
Key Responsibilities:
· Supports the production ESB message oriented integrations and batch integrations that have been implemented in the Gaylord environment
· Works with business requirements analysts / subject matter experts to identify and understand requirements
· Works with data analyst to understand source data systems and data quality issues / performs data quality analysis
· Maps source system data to target data models (source to target mappings)
· Conducts ETL process design and sizing estimates for mid-complex sized data integration projects by taking into account Change data capture, restartability and data quality error handling
· Develops complex extraction, transformation, and load processes
· Tests (unit level, integration level, system level, and user acceptance level) complex extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes
· Defines and captures metadata and rules associated with ETL processes
Key Skills:
