Dear all,

The organisers of EUMAS have kindly offered us a room (we may
need to contribtue a little to cost but I believe not much) but
we can hold a 1/2 day meeting at least in parallel with the
EUMAS event which will be 7th and 8th of December in Brussels:

http://como.vub.ac.be/eumas2005/index.html

I have a slight preference for morning or afternoon of the 8th
but other please let me know:

* if you would like to attend.
* any date preferences you would have.

We need to get back to them asap. Also I'd be really greatful if someone
could take over the liaison with them because i will travelling
a lot in the interveening period and not sure i can track it all!

Unfortunately though we will not be able to provide travel funding this
time. However hopefully EUMAS will be an added incentive!

many thanks and best regards,
hope we can use it to boost progress!

steve.

Dear Steve,

I would like to attend to the next AIF meeting.
I am also attending to EUMAS and presenting a paper (the EUMAS program is not
decided yet...).

So far I have no preferences concerning day/time.

Cheers, and thanks for all your efforts in the AIF organization,

Carlos

I can't make it but I believe Jarred McGinnis will be there so he can
represent Edinburgh interests.

Hello,

Matt and Sanjay said they'd be willing to coordinate things
for the event which is great, so if you are confirming to
attend and or expressing preferences please contact Matt
(Matt South <m...@acl.icnet.uk>).

I already told Matt that Carlos, possibly Jarred (Dave
nominated you Jarred!), myself and likely one more
person from UPC will attend. If you have time preferences
please let us know asap since we need to confirm it with
EUMAS.

thanks to Matt & Sanjay - best regards,
steve.

Steve says he'd prefer Thursday. On that basis, my preference would be
for AM, not PM, so that we have the opportunity to continue informal
discussions over lunch and the afternoon if we wish.
I need to get back to the conference organisers within the next couple
of days, so I'd be grateful if you could let me know if this plan is a
problem by the end of tomorrow.

regards,

Matt

I am presenting a paper at EUMAS, and as long as there is no time
conflict, I am happy with Thursday AM.

Folks, we've decided to postpone the EUMAS meeting because it turns out
that not very many of us were planning to go afterall. Big thanks to
those people who said they'd attend and to Steve for organising us a
room (sorry Steve). Sanjay and I believe that a follow up meeting is
definately needed but that the timing for this one wasnt quite right
and we're looking for opportunities around conferences in 2006 to try
again. Also, we think that we'll all benefit from having had some
extra time to experiment with the structure as described in the
strawman document.

Speaking of which, does anybody have any final comments before freezing
the strawman document? If you do, could you let Steve know ASAP as
we'd like to draw a line under this effort.

Matt
