godzen:

I was hoping for addition and not just criticism. After all, I'm just
in kindergarten.

'The word is meaningless'
and the word was God.

Took a couple of quotes for reference.

"we don't know what the hell it is"
"without the labeling of these things we really have no idea, it's
just appearance"
'there's always the seeing of mind' 'that awareness is always there'
'the eyes are not a clear pain of glass'
'it's picture moving in the brain'
'it's all happening in the picture of consciousness'
'but something is knowing that picture'
'what you are knows when you wake up in the morning, knows the
dreaming, knows the deep sleep'
'what you are is prior to those three states'
'you ARE prior to consciousness'
'you simply watch it all' 'it's effortless'
'it can never be conceptualized'
'that which is know is what you are' 'everything that is knowing is
arising on that screen'
'infinity is here, eternity is now'
'we are left without anything'
'not one single thought you could ever have will ever find it'
'we can never get or lose anything'
'that knowing has always been there and it has never been touched'
'rest in this emptiness, this nothingness, this knowing'
'the mind wants it to be more but it can never have it'
'the mind realizes that it can never solve this equation so it stops'

'the whole entire thing comes out of silence and goes back to silence
every day'
'life is, it just is, it's not broken up'
'that life is intelligent'
'the appearance is life seeing life'

I don't have anything I could add or take away.
When I translate these statements into my understanding they are not
in contradiction with what I am knowing.
Every concept and word used could be deconstructed and debated but
that is the nature of language.

From here he seems to be pointing to a reality I see.

'prior to myself,i am not...whether asleep or awake'

I am not prior to myself.

Am I myself before I am?

generating wordless consciousness starves the mental structure, the
center of the mind, the reference point of "me", with continued
starvation that center implodes

at some point the kundalini energy needs to be ignited, this will
gradually disolve the remaining bockages in the mind, and allow the
individual's awareness access outside the individuals mind, the
kundalini energy will eventually merge into the individual's
awareness, making it a direct open door to the absolute, and a
powerhouse of incredible energy

'Am I myself before I am'?

I am not before myself, nor am I after myself.
All I am after is before me...in the fridge...labeled 'cold beer'.

Consciousness is consciousness, regardless the particular state.
Awareness is awareness, regardles the particular state.
Life is life, regardless the particular form.
Prior to this is not,but within and as this is that knot of emptiness.
To this, no prior can be added, regardless the label. For labels follow
and are the added to this with no prior.
There is just this, myself, and prior to this I am not.

The Urban Guru Café.

I like the idea that analysis of awareness can become urban café
style.
That’s what this is about, right. It seemed very jumbled up, which
may be a problem when trying to string it all together.

He said at one point that the mind becomes aware of it’s own futility
and at that point, our non-duality is realised. I do agree but also
know it can be dangerous to talk of non-duality without putting into
perspective the need to accept our beautiful illusion and the
necessary for work in physical survival. The illusion of me, must
chop wood and fetch water in service to the positive growth of the me-
here-now illusion. Yet at the same time knowing there is no
boundaries which separate me-here-now from all that can be observed.

Coming to Know non-duality is not an excuse for apathy. To clearly
awaken the inner knowing, is to see the need to positively support the
created illusion and likewise it’s unity, which cancels the
boundaries we rehearse within it.

To come to know birth and death as just yet another misinterpretation,
is not an excuse to kill oneself. Rather the opposite. Realising
how precious awareness must be. For the unity to shape-shift itself
that you might manifest is a very serious acknowledge of it’s
requirement of your service.

We are here because Advaita wanted us here in this exacted from of
existence in this moment.

What else could it be ????

Only Opinion :
We are temporally the illusion of a wittiness. What we struggle to
witness is in fact our universal multidimensional self.
Our true self, just checking out the mirror.
