George, this subject of reality is so finely balanced in the twilight zones of non-absolute.

 

Each must uncover their own, this I know you understand. 

 

Never the less,

Human,  Existence and reality can only truly occur inside and outside the you self. 

Any suggestion of realities beyond you-self   are the domains of others.  Only your trust in them will accept the realities of another. 

 

Whichever direction this ancient debate flows, the ultimate closure is the acceptance that each one of us sentient beings is given the ability to choose.

Basic Advaita is the total aversion of duality for the sake of unity wholeness.

 

Opinion personnel – Reality and illusion are one.  Each one of us co-creates the illusion of reality. There is only small percentage of this which is commonly shared.  The ground at your feet, the sun on your face and the wind in your hair.  These realities are commonly shared and must constitute commonly accepted Human existence and realities.  But most of my reality occurs in my mind, my spirit, my soul.  Being human means we, each one of us in very different ways, live in at least three very different dimensions.

 

This very subject is eternal,  as an individual, closure on this subject was a liberating step towards the bigger picture.

Too often does this question block out the obvious.  The truth, is the only real assistance to deeper understanding.  Belief or intellectual ironies only continue the debate.

The first functioning principle of reality is you. 

If there is any doubt in the truth of this statement.  Then place some ice cubes down the back of your shirt.  As the cold of the ice penetrates the nerves in your spine, you will, in an instant, know real and actual reality.  If does not work then hit yourself over the head with a brick.  (not recommended) if this does not work then you are not real.    ?!?!?!  sorry.

 

Yes in the deeper picture we are but a teardrop on its way to the ocean. 

But wisdom dictates,  the teardrop for this here and now is really real. 

Or as real as we can ever experience or understand and accept.

 

In this sense,  yes you are right.  Sentient beings, humans, conscious awareness is basically - belief structures in action.  The illusion is real. 

  

Perhaps the Mystery is only meant to be enjoyed,  not resolved ???
